Pick up Point – Belgadia Palace, Baripada Time : 3:00 pm Daily (Fri, Sat & Sun) An evening trail through the landscapes and living traditions of Mayurbhanj. From the calm waters of Balidiha Dam to the warmth of a Santhal village. The trail dwells on how communities have lived with nature for generations – where streams, rivers, forests, food, folklore, music and the stars hold a deep cultural memory and a connection to everyday life. Set amidst the beautiful sunset at Balidiha Dam, the first halt and the quiet hours that follow, the trail brings together royal history, tribal traditions, stargazing and simple shared moments around a village bonfire. Trail Highlights: • Start from Belgadia Palace • Experience the magnificent sunset at Balidiha Dam • Experience the Santhal Tradition and Culture at Lakhmiposi Village • Participate in the traditional Santhali Dance and interact with the community members. • Bonfire in the evening • Stargazing - Explore the Santhal tradition of reading the stars as celestial markers of season, time, and ancestry. • Return to Belgadia Palace, Baripada.
